Applied research and long-term biodiversity monitoring carried out in the field, transforming the rainforest into a laboratory. Amazon Nexus supports scientific studies that generate knowledge, guide strategies and strengthen areas across the Brazilian Amazon and beyond.
Protection of ecosystems combined with tangible benefits for local communities through ecotourism. By integrating conservation-led tourism with research stations, Amazon Nexus creates economic value aligned with environmental integrity, ensuring that conservation remains viable and long-lasting.
Active participation of guests, local communities, partners and global citizen scientists in real conservation efforts worldwide. By connecting technology, immersive experiences and science, Amazon Nexus transforms involvement into impact and awareness into a long-term commitment for future generations.
Amazon Nexus is a science-driven conservation initiative created by Amazon Emotions, headquartered in the heart of the Brazilian Amazon, in the Presidente Figueiredo region, through a partnership with CENBAM – Amazonian Biodiversity Integrated Studies Center.
From this strategic base, Amazon Nexus operates as a living laboratory and innovation hub, where scientific research, conservation, ecotourism and art intersect. The initiative evaluates and curates locations across the Amazon region with outstanding natural and touristic potential, with the aim of replicating this model and establishing new research stations, conservation programs and carefully designed itineraries.
Each new site is selected based on ecological relevance, scientific potential and its capacity to generate long-term benefits for protected areas and local communities through responsible tourism, expanding a network where knowledge, conservation and meaningful travel evolve together.
