The Refuge is located within the 300-hectare Amazon Emotions Reserve, near Presidente Figueiredo, approximately two hours from Manaus. Surrounded by pristine rainforest, hidden waterfalls, ancient caves and forest trails, it offers complete seclusion while remaining easily accessible from the city.

Transfers from Manaus are organized according to the confirmed itinerary. The journey is made by road and takes approximately two hours, gradually leaving the urban landscape behind as guests travel toward the forests and waterfalls of Presidente Figueiredo.

The Refuge accommodates up to eight guests and is ideal for couples, families and small private groups. As only one reservation is accepted at a time, every stay remains personal, peaceful and completely exclusive.

Guests can choose between three-, four- and five-day programs. A three-day stay offers an immersive introduction to the rainforest, while longer itineraries provide more time for waterfalls, caves, wildlife observation, longer forest walks and optional adventure experiences. Yes. Guided activities are accompanied by an experienced naturalist guide who helps guests interpret the rainforest, observe wildlife and understand the relationships between plants, animals, fungi and the wider ecosystem. The daily program is adapted to the interests and pace of your group.

Activities may include guided rainforest walks, waterfall and cave explorations, wildlife observation, birdwatching, night walks, medicinal plant interpretation, visits to local markets and campfire evenings. The Amazon Emotions Reserve is home to monkeys, sloths, toucans, parrots, frogs, reptiles, butterflies, insects and many other rainforest species. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed because all animals are observed in their natural habitat, but the private setting and experienced guides create excellent opportunities to identify tracks, calls and signs of wildlife.

The Refuge features two elevated, air-conditioned suites surrounded by rainforest. Each suite includes a private bathroom, hot shower, comfortable bedding and a veranda with hammocks. The accommodations were designed to provide privacy and comfort while maintaining a close connection with the forest.

The Amazon Emotions Reserve generally has a lower concentration of mosquitoes than many floodplain areas of the Amazon because it is located in upland rainforest. Insects are still a natural part of the environment, however, so guests should bring and use insect repellent when necessary.

Recreational tree climbing is available as an optional experience on our 3- and 4-day itineraries and must be arranged in advance. It is included in our 5-day itinerary. The activity uses professional equipment and is supervised by trained instructors. No previous climbing experience is required, although age and physical restrictions may apply.

An optional hammock camping experience may be arranged for guests seeking a deeper rainforest adventure. The experience is accompanied by the local team and depends on weather conditions, guest profile and operational availability.

The program generally includes private accommodation, all meals, selected beverages, guided rainforest activities, transfers from Manaus according to the confirmed itinerary and exclusive use of the Refuge. Optional activities and additional excursions are quoted separately when applicable.

Bring lightweight and breathable clothing, comfortable walking shoes, sandals, swimwear, a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent and a light rain jacket. Binoculars, a camera, a small daypack and a reusable water bottle are also recommended.

Rainfall, wildlife activity and forest conditions change with the seasons, but the upland rainforest, trails, waterfalls and private reserve offer rewarding experiences in every period. Some experiences involve uneven forest trails, steps, wet surfaces and warm, humid conditions, while gentler walks and relaxing activities are also available.
