The centerpiece of the reserve is its scientific Trail Grid System, located directly behind the Private Rainforest Refuge. Comprising 5 km (3.1 miles) of interconnected trails spread across more than 300 hectares (741 acres) and four distinct ecosystems, it is the first scientific trail network in the region adapted for ecotourism experiences.
As part of the IAARA Project, scientists have equipped the grid with camera traps and monitoring equipment to document elusive Amazon wildlife and support ongoing biodiversity research. Guests have the unique opportunity to explore these trails while learning about conservation, ecological monitoring, and the scientific initiatives taking place within the reserve.

The Private Rainforest Refuge combines the exclusivity of a private forest reserve with the comfort of a thoughtfully designed wilderness retreat.
The Refuge offers an intimate and welcoming atmosphere where nature is always at your doorstep. Elevated wooden suites provide comfort and privacy while maintaining a strong connection to the surrounding forest.
Large windows frame panoramic treetop views and fill the spaces with natural light, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the sights and sounds of the Amazon throughout their stay. The suites are designed to maximize natural ventilation through screened openings that welcome the fresh forest breeze and are complemented by ceiling fans. For additional comfort, all suites are also equipped with air conditioning.

COMFORT AND FLEXIBILITY
The Refuge features two elevated wooden suites that can be configured with either one queen-size bed or twin beds, making them ideal for couples, friends, or families seeking an exclusive rainforest escape.
Amenities include a private bathroom with hot showers, air conditioning, ceiling fans, natural ventilation through screened openings, comfortable bedding, daily housekeeping, charging areas for electronic equipment, Wi-Fi availability, and a selection of biodegradable bath products.
Guests also enjoy exclusive access to the refuge’s social areas, including an open-concept living and dining area, outdoor relaxation spaces, a fire pit, and panoramic views of the surrounding forest canopy.
